This prominent Art Deco styled house is located in Decatur’s Historic district and was designed by Edwin Lancaster who was then the head of Auburn University’s Architecture department. The home was built in 1939 as a wedding gift for the daughter of Ruby Nash of the local Coca-Cola distributor.

Utah National Guard Opens Remodeled Beaver Armory – 6-7-13

The Utah National Guard held a ribbon-cutting for the remodeled armory in Beaver, Utah, June 7. Home to Charlie Battery, 2-222 Field Artillery, Beaver Armory has undergone a yearlong, .75-million remodeling project, which includes the following improvements:
new paint, carpet, windows, floor and ceiling tile and landscaping; office and drill-hall upgrades; new electrical wiring; heating and cooling system upgrades; lighting and energy-efficient improvements that will reduce electricity costs by 20 percent; new interior and exterior doors; communication and data-system infrastructure; new kitchen equipment and flooring; and upgraded restrooms.
